so far it has been commented on 0 times, you can add your own if you like. you can also ping the trackback url if you want, i don't mind.
Web 2.0, Social Media, The Blogsphere, whatever you attribute it to, getting your voice published online is easier than it has ever been. Getting your voice heard and getting a response from your audience is the tricky part.
Noise
The problem with getting an engaging, responsive audience when you’re blogging for fun is the shear volume of blogs and other user generated content fighting for attention online. If we look at Technorati’s data the are currently about 112.8 million blogs online, and over 250 million items of tagged media.
Dig a bit further into this data and it’s revealed that there are over 175,000 new blogs every day with over 1.6 million posts per day (over 18 posts every second).
There is a lot of noise out there. Chances are that there are a lot people out there saying similar things to you.
writing
i like to write about stuff, thats what this place is for. here are some of the things that i talk about, organized into categories. i have more categories than this though, you can find them in the categories section. even more of my posts are over in the archives.

- craigtmackenzie: @arfon nope, you'll be getting a free upgrade ;)
- craigtmackenzie: i would hire them back, make Objective J (the translator) propriety apple code, port iWork to the web and compete with google / zoho etc.
